A blog with no name

Every millennial should have a blog, right?

Well, here I am. I’d say this is a few steps up from Xanga, but it feels oddly familiar either way. I am glad that I won’t be using this blog to talk about teenage angsty problems, however.

What will I be talking about in this blog? What a great question!

Design — and all aspects of it — will probably be the thing I post about the most. Second to that, will probably be skateboarding because that is my S.O.’s hobby and passion, and it can make for some awesome photos and videos.

I’ll be posting photos and videos from trips that we have taken. Yosemite has been the most picturesque place yet! But we do have another trip to the mountains planned for this fall.

I do plan on publishing some personal projects on here, as well. I am trying to get more efficient in WebFlow and then I want to learn Sketch. I’ll also post some of the video projects we are working on.

Because journalism is another industry that is close to my heart, I’ll be playing around with some of Knight Lab‘s tools. Interesting (and weird) digital tools for journalists — that is SO up my alley.

Another one of our passion projects that is in it’s early stages is a t-shirt company, so be on the lookout for those dope designs! We have some really cool ideas coming down the pipeline and *fingers crossed* for some local collaboration, too! We will also have stickers, beanies & hats, and other accessories.

And finally, I am set on creating a Google map that has saved locations of street skate spots in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I am really shocked this doesn’t already exist online! With the skate culture that is around these days, a curated map with street spots (and pictures) is just what the skate community needs.

Currently accepting suggestions for a blog name.

Ta-ta for now!
